The Avalon Principle

All products in the Avalon Family make it possible to check the smoothness of a facet while the diamond is still in the tang. Using a special camera system and advanced light-source technology, Avalon generates a sharp and high-resolution image of the facet you are polishing. This image gives a clear representation of the polishing lines and can automatically evaluate the polish grade, allowing you to increase the surface quality of your diamonds in an accurate and consistent manner.
